HARROW UNIFIED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
In its quest to provide a cost efficient service, empowering the community, supporting carers and
effectively treating its clients, Harrow turned to Jade Health to develop a critical solution
for its mental health services.
Bolton, Salford and Trafford Mental NHS Trust
For Bolton, Salford and Trafford Mental Health NHS Trust (BSTMHT) in Manchester, providing effective
mental health care is the top clinical priority. The Trust employs approximately 2500 people to deliver its
inpatient and community-based mental health care services.
The Department of Health and Community Services
After analyzing the information systems available at the time,
the DHCS failed to find one that matched their requirements, so they
established a partnership with Jade Software Corporation to
develop JADE Co-ordinated Care (JCC).
The Department of Health and Community Services — CLINICALS
The DHCS’ doctors needed a clinical information system that would
make it easier and faster to access a patient’s results no matter
which clinic they were located in.
The DHCS chose to implement JADE Clinicals, which was
designed to give clinical staff a single point of access to key
patient information.

“Our decision to replace
all our existing systems, for a single integrated system from
Jade was not taken lightly. A 23-strong selection group (predominantly
clinicians) had to be convinced it would meet all our requirements,
especially in terms of flexibility (as standards and requirements
change regularly) and security of information. The panel felt
that Jade offered the best value for money and transfer of
risk.”

Bolton, Salford and Trafford Mental Health Partnership
“Jade has worked directly
with our implementation team and has always been willing to
listen to our needs. It’s been so successful to date
that if you had asked me two years ago what my ideal system
would look like, it would be exactly what we have on our screens
today.”
