Grouping objects is similar to sorting them.
The difference with grouping is that header and footer sections for a group are available.
Our report will group retail sales for each client in alphabetical order
and enable us to add header and footer information.
Instructions
- Select the Insert | Group... menu command.
The Group Properties dialog is displayed.
- Enter Client as the Group Alias.
- Select Ascending group order.
- Select the client name field.
- Click the OK button.
