Jade Software Corporation announces operating structure and executive management changes
New Zealand-based Jade Software Corporation (Jade) today announced changes to its operating structure and executive team.
Jade Chair, Ruth Richardson, indicated the company had largely completed a three year business transformation programme and would now operate as two discrete operations – Jade and Wynyard Group.
“Over the course of the last three years, management has focused on clarifying our value proposition, expanding our technology capability and narrowing our market focus. This has created significant new opportunities we believe are best executed as two focused, independent business operations,” said Ruth Richardson.
Craig Richardson, Managing Director of Jade since 2009 and principal architect of the business transformation plan, has been appointed Managing Director of the recently launched Wynyard Group. He remains a director of Jade, Wynyard’s holding company, and will continue to report to its board.
Since its launch in March 2012, Wynyard Group has rapidly established itself as a global leader in software for protecting companies and countries from threat, crime and corruption. Wynyard’s operational software helps manage and connect mission critical risk management, intelligence and investigations cycles. Wynyard’s customers include some of the world’s leading financial institutions, government security and justice agencies, and critical infrastructure operators.
Craig Richardson, said that Wynyard Group is experiencing strong global growth and now needs his 100% focus to ensure the investment made in product and talent, the sales momentum created, and global growth potential of Wynyard continues to be realised.
“Wynyard is very well positioned in this high growth, specialist technology market and our board has recognised the importance of a strong, mission-focused management team,” he said.
Ruth Richardson, announced that Jade’s current Chief Operating Officer, David Lindsay, has been appointed Managing Director of Jade and will lead the company’s global marine terminal (Master Terminal), enterprise and mobile development (JOOB Mobile) and infrastructure service business.
“It gives me great pleasure to see the promotion of David Lindsay and to welcome him to the Jade Software Corporation Board. David has held increasingly senior roles with Jade over the past 14 years including nine years as Chief Financial Officer and the past two years as Chief Operating Officer. David has been a key player in the transformation of the business and the board had no hesitation elevating David to the leadership of Jade.”
David Lindsay has been strategically and operationally managing Jade’s Master Terminal, JOOB Mobile, enterprise development and infrastructure services business for the past year and says that the timing is right for Jade and Wynyard to grow as two focused, independent operations.
“Jade has already started to realise the benefits of increased focus on its business lines resulting from the structural change, with Master Terminal and JOOB Mobile both experiencing high double digit growth during 2012. This growth is set to continue in 2013 as Jade builds on its new presence in the Middle East and opens a new office in the USA to support its rapidly growing customer base in that region.
“Master Terminal is recognised as a world-leading supplier of Terminal Operating Systems to global multi-cargo marine terminals and JOOB Mobile is one of the leading enterprise mobilisation businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Our application development and infrastructure services businesses are also securing new clients,” said Lindsay.
