NZTE's Canterbury Regional Profile features Jade
This month, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) has released a series of regional profiles to attract new investment in New Zealand. The new Canterbury profile stresses the area's booming economy, and pays particular attention to knowledge-intensive industries including software development.
"Canterbury’s locally developed software is known for being flexible, resilient and entrepreneurial. Often operating in highly niche segments, the region’s technology companies provide customised solutions for clients across New Zealand and around the world, as well as producing their own products and services."
We're a proud, long-standing part of Canterbury's knowledge economy. NZTE recognises this, profiling us alongside two other local champions (HamiltonJet and Tait Communications).
"Since 1978, Jade has worked with companies around the world to solve complex business problems through the design, delivery, and support of innovative software and business technology. With more than 200 employees, Jade’s clients span financial services, telecommunications, utilities, retail, primary production, and specialist logistics industries. Jade is based in Christchurch with offices around New Zealand and the world."
It's really encouraging to know that the government's international business development agency is pushing our knowledge economy as a particular "area of opportunity" for investors. With our global headquarters in Christchurch and offices in Europe, America, the Middle East and Australia, we know what it takes to bring kiwi cleverness to the world.
