Jade Software Corporation (“Jade”) has entered into an agreement to acquire Contec Group International (“Contec”), a global leader in dairy supply-chain management software. The agreement is subject to customary conditions. Settlement of the transaction is scheduled for 28 November 2025.
The proposed acquisition is expected to accelerate Jade’s mission to scale industry-specific B2B SaaS and increase Jade’s annual revenue by 20–25%, marking a major step in Jade’s transformation into a global, industry-specific SaaS leader.
Contec develops, implements and supports MADCAP™, the software that already enables 6 of the 10 largest global dairy processors; including Nestle, Land O’Lakes and Saputo, to digitise their milk supply- chains, optimise tanker routes, test milk quality, and pay farmers.
Further growth of MADCAP™ is anticipated with CEO of Jade Group Justin Mercer saying the company has its sights set on doubling the size of MADCAP’s market share over the next three to five years.

The acquisition will expand Jade’s SaaS portfolio beyond RegTech through the rapidly growing Jade ThirdEye, which detects suspicious activity across millions of banking transactions across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom into AgriTech.
The acquisition will bring two Christchurch-based innovators together to shape the international dairy technology landscape.
